چکیده

Alcoholic liver disease is associated with injury ranging from steatosis to steatohepatitis, fibrosis and cirrhosis. One of the mechanisms organs damage cytokines influences. The intensity depends on individual reactivety. The aim study was evaluate changes in blood interleukins heart high- low-emotional (HE, LE) male rats ethanol hepatosis, hepatitis, cirrhosis determine degree damage.Material methods investigation. experiments were performed 72 HE LE outbred aged 4 months ((control 1, glucose 7 days, acute hepatitis – EH) 120 autbred 5.5-6.5 (control 2, 67 hepatosis EHs, EF, EC). emotionality determined by "open field" method.Determined serum Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha (TNF-α), Interleukin 1 Beta (IL-1β), (IL-4), 10 (IL-10), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate (AST), alkaline phosphatase (AP). All animals underwent histological examination heart, right left ventricles (RV, LV), ventricular septum (VS) square.Results. In EH increase IL-1β, IL-10 decrease TNF-α rats. EF EC IL-4 TNF-α, ALT (more LE), AST HE) AP. decreased ALT, increased AST. AP EHs; EC. EC; EHs. both groups at a remodeling observed. earlier bigger observed rats.Conclusion. severity simulated pathology, which more pronounced highly emotional organism different take plase changes. low emotions firosis high

Impact of Propionic Acid on Liver Damage in Rats

Propionic acid (PA) is a short chain fatty acid, a common food preservative and metabolic end product of enteric bacteria in the gut. The present study was undertaken to investigate the effect of PA on liver injury in male rats. Male western albino rats were divided into two groups. The first group served as normal control, the second was treated with PA. The activities of serum hepatospecific ...

Mechanisms of ethanol-induced cardiac damage.

Although the extent of excessive ethanol consumption merits serious concern, and the association between such consumption and dilated cardiomyopathy is increasingly recognised, the pathogenesis and factors that determine patient susceptibility are still poorly known. Until the 1950s the cause of ethanolinduced cardiomyopathy was supposed to be nutritional deficiencies (that is, disturbances of ...

Hepatoprotective effects of Liv-52 on ethanol induced liver damage in rats.

The mechanism of protective effects of Liv-52, a multiherbal hepatoprotective drug, on ethanol induced hepatic damage has been investigated. The results indicate that Liv-52 treatment prevents ethanol induced increase in the activity of the enzyme gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase. Concomitantly there was also a decrease in ethanol accentuated lipid peroxidation in liver following Liv-52 treatment....

The effects of ethanol extract of Berberis vulgaris fruit on histopathological changes and biochemical markers of the liver damage in diabetic rats

Objective(s): Various studies have shown that the diabetes is associated with liver failure. The objective of this study was determining the effects of Berberis vulgaris fruit on histopathological and biochemical markers of liver in diabetic rats. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 60 male Wistar rats weighing 200-250 g with free access to water and ad libitum were randomly divi...

Hepatoprotective activity of aerial parts of Otostegia persica against carbon tetrachloride-induced liver damage in rats

Objective: To evaluate the hepatoprotective properties of Otostegia persica (O. persica) ethanol extract on carbon tetrachlo‌‌ride-induced liver damage in rats. Materials and Methods: Fifty adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups. Group I served as normal control and was given only olive oil intraperitoneally (i.p.). Group II, III, IV, and V were administered CCl4 mixed wi...
